Meet Maritza Banda

Maritza joined our team in July of 2020 and has clearly made an impact here at Hall & Company. She is Brad’s Executive Assistant, and does a great job.

She is a big team player, and always there to help out the next person. She has quickly become a huge asset to the Marketing team, and an overall amazing employee.

We are so grateful to have her here with us at Hall & Company!

Number one place you want to travel

The Amalfi Coast & Rome. I have been to Northern Italy but I am dying to go back to see Vatican City and other coastal towns.

I still dream about the food and wine!

Favorite place you have traveled

I love visiting Mexico and last year I was lucky enough to travel to Mexico City and Zihuatanejo.

Visiting Teotihuacan and the ancient pyramids was on my bucket list and it exceeded my expectations.

We rounded out the trip in Zihuatanejo and had a very untraditional Thanksgiving dinner on a cliff with the freshest seafood dinner.

Do you have any pets?

I am a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady. My first baby was Diego and he is now 12 years old. He is very grumpy but he is hands down the cutest cat you have ever seen.

My second baby is Frankenstein and he showed up on my front door step about 8 years ago and needed lots of medical attention. The time I spent getting him healthy created a bond and I just had to keep him. He is the sweetest cat ever and do not believe that black cats are bad luck!

What activity helps you relieve stress?

Being active! I love doing anything that pushes the human body to its limits.

I grew up a competitive dancer and that has now translated to doing anything competitive. I ran my first Spartan race last year and planned to compete this year but unfortunately Covid had other plans.

What movie can you watch over and over again?

Selena. My poor fiance... anytime it happens to be on TV we have to watch it.

Are you a sports fan? If so, who is your favorite team?

Football is my favorite sport and the San Francisco Forty Niners are my team! My first sports memory is watching the Niners beat the Chargers in the

Super Bowl when I was about 7 years old and I was hooked. Fun fact, I always wanted to play pop warner when I was younger but my parents shot that one down.

What is your favorite TV series for binge watching?

Mind Hunters. Dateline. Anything in the murder/mystery category.

What made you smile this weekend?

Dressing up my cats as bats for Halloween.

It’s happy hour, what are you ordering?

Dirty martini with Kettle One and blue cheese stuffed olives
