Orange County Business Journal Sponsorship Seal

Hall & Company, an Irvine-based CPA firm, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ) as a platinum sponsor to recognize Orange County’s leading family-owned businesses at the OCBJ’s 20th Family-Owned Business Awards. The annual event is scheduled to take place June 4 at Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California from noon to 2 p.m.

The Family-Owned Business Awards is “the perfect opportunity to recognize clients, colleagues, and friends whose Orange County-based family-owned firms have distinguished themselves via their business accomplishments and contributions to the local community,” according to the Journal.  To qualify, a company must have at least two family members active in the business’ operations, and self-nominations are encouraged.

The event allows for the recognition of five exceptional family-owned businesses in Orange County, and in addition to the upcoming luncheon, the OCBJ has released a special report that features profiles of the nominated organizations. The event also features a keynote speaker and this year’s orator is SeneGence International Inc. founder and CEO, Joni Rogers-Kante.

As a first time sponsor of the awards luncheon, Hall & Company is pleased to celebrate local family-owned businesses that are positively impacting the Orange County community. And, in addition to financial support, Hall & Company has actively been interviewing multiple companies for the awards. Companies have been grouped by size into the small, medium or large categories, and a range of business types have been nominated, including plastic surgery centers, cabinet and flooring refinishers, a firearms training company, a waterproofing company and more.

The OCBJ is a weekly print and online newspaper covering Orange County businesses and has been a staple in the community since its founding in 1978. The publication covers local business news from companies representing an array of industries, such as technology, medical device, aerospace, defense, finance, real estate, and apparel sectors, among others. In addition to the Family-Owned Business Awards, the OCBJ hosts six other significant awards programs throughout the year to recognize individuals and organizations that positively impact the Orange County business community.

Located in the heart of Orange County, Hall & Company is proud to support the local business community.  For over 35 years the company has been embracing entrepreneurs, CEOs and business founders, and partnering with the OCBJ as a sponsor of the 20th Annual Family-Owned Business Awards is a natural fit for the firm.
