Eat and Be Merry: The Annual Hall & Company Christmas Party!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in our office at Hall & Company (not counting tax season, of course). This year, our team held our annual Christmas Lunch at Habana Restaurant in Irvine, CA. Our menu was composed of traditional Cuban cuisine. No accountant was left unfed, for the holiday feast included a 3-course meal of appetizers, numerous entrees, and dessert.

The team also participated in our traditional games and raffles. Prizes included Apple Airpods and gift cards to Amazon, Target, Javier’s Mexican Restaurant, and Disney. The most memorable moment of all was the Hall & Company Hat Contest. Our team decked their caps with their craziest Christmas trimmings. Hats were nominated for “Ugliest,” “Cutest,” and “Most Creative.” You’ll find photos of this year’s winners below!

“Ugliest” Hat

The winner of this year’s “ugliest” hat goes to our Senior Audit Principal, Michael Christian! His blue Dallas Cowboys cap was complete with a curly, white wig and colorful Mickey Mouse ears. We applaud his creativity but found his hat to be the least attractive of the bunch. You can learn more about what Michael does for our team here

“Most Creative” Hat

Winner of our most “creative hat” goes to our Audit Associate, Jacob Urbine! At first look, it may seem as if Jacob is wearing a simple, yet festive, holiday poncho. Upon closer inspection, you’ll find he is indeed wearing a Christmas tree skirt. This clever addition to his already creative Christmas tree sombrero was a clear winner.

“Cutest” Hat

Our winner of the “cutest” hat of the 2019 Christmas Party is Tax Senior, Kunal Sharma! There may be nothing sweeter than a tiny Santa Claus riding Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in the form of a hat- all on top of a Tax Senior’s head! His excitement expresses how passionate he is about winning this contest!

To our team at Hall & Company, thanks for another fun and festive Christmas Party. We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you again next year! To find out more about our team, visit our Meet the Firm page. Interested in joining us for next year’s Christmas Party?
