Hall and Company’s audit department is looking for an Audit Manager to join its team. The position will work on SEC and private company audits and reviews, as well as employee benefit plans. Our clients range from startup companies through those with in excess of $300 million in revenue. All industry experience is welcome but some experience in manufacturing and distribution is preferred. Travel expectations are less than 3 weeks per year. The preferred candidate should have at least six years of experience with comparable clients. Completion of the CPA exam is expected.
We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join our team. This is a full-time position.
Plan and perform audit and review engagements to ensure that financial statements are fairly presented in accordance with GAAP; Inquire of management and others to gain an understanding of the entity and its environment; Assess risk of material misstatement and evaluate the entity’s internal control system; Design and implement responses to the risks of material misstatement by developing audit programs and testing procedures; Perform substantive testing to detect material misstatements in financial statements; Obtain and review evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented; Prepare and present to management reports on audit findings, which might include material misstatements of financial information or control deficiencies, and provide recommendations; Review financial statement to ensure it is fairly stated and adequately disclosed; Work in close liaison with external parties during audit, and perform all other related duties, tasks or special assignments as assignedwithin the company.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related and four years of experience as an auditor or related
